Dar‑Al Arqam is a traditional Qur’anic studies program serving the Omaha Muslim community. Our mission is to help students read the Qur’an correctly, apply tajweed with confidence, and build a strong connection with the Book of Allah.
We focus on clarity, discipline, and consistent progress — blending traditional Islamic learning with structured, student‑centered teaching.

“And recite the Qur’an with measured recitation.” (Al‑Muzzammil 73:4)
Dar‑Al Arqam is led by Imam Muhammed Sacko, the Imam of the Islamic Center of Omaha. He has served the Omaha Muslim community for several years through teaching, khutbahs, counseling, and community leadership.
Imam Sacko brings over 13 years of experience as a Resident Scholar, a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies, and ongoing doctoral work in Leadership & Education. His teaching blends traditional Qur’anic learning with modern educational structure, emphasizing clarity, discipline, and strong character.
In addition to Qur’anic instruction, Imam Sacko teaches Leadership Courses that help students develop skills in leading prayers, delivering khutbahs, public speaking, and serving their communities with confidence and wisdom.
We believe that Qur’anic education should be accessible, structured, and rooted in strong Islamic character. Students learn through:
