ABOUT US

Dar‑Al Arqam for Quranic Studies provides a structured, traditional, and community‑centered environment for learning the Qur’an. Our focus is on correct recitation, tajweed, and memorization, taught with patience, clarity, and consistency.

OUR APPROACH

We follow a step‑by‑step method that begins with proper pronunciation, progresses through tajweed rules, and builds toward confident recitation and memorization. Students advance at a steady pace with consistent review and individualized support.

LEADERSHIP

Dar‑Al Arqam is led by Imam Muhammed Sacko, the Imam of the Islamic Center of Omaha. He has served the Omaha Muslim community for several years through teaching, khutbahs, counseling, and community leadership.

With over 13 years of experience as a Resident Scholar, a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies, and ongoing doctoral work in Leadership & Education, Imam Muhammed brings both Islamic scholarship and modern educational leadership to the program.

Dar‑Al Arqam currently operates as a traditional Qur’an school while Imam Muhammed completes the licensing process required by Nebraska state law.
